See what a couple people have to say about SFC’s FREE consulting services …

If you want to see a life not only change, but to be transformed, then introduce people to Jesus.

Because that’s a profound truth, one of the six core services provided by the international ministry of Scott Free Clinic is consulting with churches, ministries, and organizations. We offer this free service to help churches become disciple-making churches, and to help churches and other Christian organizations improve their ministries.

Take a minute to read about what a couple former clients are saying about our consulting services …

How to achieve a much greater vision … That was the greatest contribution we made to John Hendee in his role as Chair of World Evangelism at Hope International University (HIU). I initially met John at Central Christian Church in Mesa, AZ. more than three decades ago where I was first trained in a “relational evangelism” course he had developed. That training was my introduction to the single most effective evangelism tool and method I’ve ever seen or used. I’ve led hundreds of people to Christ using it, introduced it into multiple churches to see them explode with disciple-making, and I know that many thousands of people around the world have come to Christ through what is called “It’s All About Relationship,” or the IAAR.

More than three decades later, John and I connected in the San Diego area, and Scott Free Clinic spent a year consulting for him in his role at HIU teaching the IAAR as an eight-week online course. During the consulting project, John provided the following feedback to SFC’s Board of Directors:

Dear Board Members,

I wanted to write you and let you know what Scotty has been doing in the way of consulting with me has been above and beyond the call of duty. His help has been outstanding. It has been a work of God to bring us back together on our life’s journey. As a user and fan of A Peace Treaty with God, and now knowing about It’s All About Relationship (the revised version), he has helped me see a much greater potential in what I’m seeking to do with it in the way of training Christians in making disciples. He has helped me get much further down the road than I ever would have without all the time and energy he has invested with me. He has helped me see how to get to a much bigger playing field for what I want to do. I think I had seen many of the things in the past but honestly I had “run out of gas.” God has used Scotty to fill the tank and step on the accelorator with a heavy foot. He has led in reintroducing the Spiritual T.E.A.M. book, which we will be reprinting. I hadn’t thought of that and it was a great idea. And we will be making this book available to all for free, just as I already do with the IAAR. He is writing the Effective Disciple-Making book, which takes all I have developed and puts it into a MODEL. That was his baby and it is ready to go. I have been known all my ministry life as “the idea man.” I think I’ve met my match. It is exhausting 🙂 and a blessing. I just had to let you know that his time spent with me has been a HUGE benefit to the Kingdom and I appreciate your letting him consult with me the way he has/is. I pray for him and you and your great venture. He has become part of our family. Thanks again. Hope you can take the Relational Evangelism course, too. You will like it.

For the King,

John Hendee

Custom 40-day all-church campaign is something we provided to a church in northern California. This senior minister there asked us to provide them with everything for such a program, right down to sermon series topics. So we did, and what we provided them included:

    • Writing them a custom book with 40 lessons for 40 days!
    • Topics for all of the sermons.
    • Curriculum for home groups to use throughout the program.
    • Blog posts and Facebook posts for the program.

One of the objectives for the all church campaign was to boost participation of adults in home groups. Here are snippets of feedback from the senior minister on outcomes from the program (note, “WC’s” = “home groups”):

As such, we had 12 new families sign up for WC’s today. And we’re able to form 2 new WC’s … with 2 others volunteering to host, but we don’t have the leaders nor participants yet. So we most certainly shifted the value!

It’s only day 3 and we’ve already added 3 new WC’s. Possibility of 2 more making 5. With 46 new adults!

Preached week 3 intro yesterday – blend of Acts 2 & Eph 4/Rom.12 gifts …application: sign up for serving. The big praise … for first time in over 2 years our Sunday School is now fully staffed. Of which we added 6 very qualified teachers who had been sitting on the sidelines. I’m completely convinced this journey (we stopped calling it a campaign) should be distributed to many. But would endorse it only on the premise that the leadership must earnestly fast for 21 days prior … then start promoting …then launch.

We distributed 125 books, which is remarkable considering attendance is averaging 139. Also 1-2 copies continue to get picked up every week, even last week. There are also 50+ adults in groups right now. All of this is fantastic evidence of success. Honestly above my expectations. Yet, don’t know exactly how many are actually doing the study every day.

Results continued to grow from there, with the church concluding it was a very fruitful spiritual adventure!
