What if …

The moment has finally arrived.

It has finally happened.

Someone you know, someone who trusts you, has just asked you a genuine question about Jesus Christ.

What do you say?

What do you do?

“Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your Christian hope, always be ready to explain it” 1 Peter 3:15.

As a child of God, and Ambassador for Christ, we need to be able to explain the reason for our hope, the source of our faith. Being prepared to do so isn’t as hard or scary as we make it out to be. But not being prepared could mean you desperately disappoint someone who perhaps for the first time is opening up to hearing the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Let me encourage you — even more, let me implore you — if you are not prepared to explain your “Christian hope” then by all means get with a leader in your church and spend some time having them equip you so that you will be prepared.

Then once prepared, pray for the opportunity!
