Breaking limits …
From the beginning of time, when Adam and Eve exceeded the single limit set for them, it seems like humanity has been bent on breaking limits.
And yet we place a massive limit on who we can be, and what our lives can become, by placing possibly the largest limit of all on our lives: we vastly underestimate God!
Look at these words from Ephesians 3:20-21 … actually read them out loud:
“Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to Him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.”
Do you think God could use you to reach the world? He can do more …
Do you think He can make you a man or woman of integrity that your children admire and respect? He can do more …
Do you think He can create an incredible bond of love in your marriage and lead you in creating a rich loving relationship with your spouse that easily lasts a lifetime? He can do more …
Do you think He can change your church into being such a Spirit-filled place that reaches the lost and makes disciples in such a way that it would make the New Testament church look boring? He can do more …
He is able “… to accomplish INFINITELY MORE than we might ASK or THINK …”
So don’t you think it’s time we cast off the limits of what we believe God is willing and capable of doing for US … for you and for me?
How are you limiting God with little questions? Little requests? Little dreams? Little hopes? Little faith? Little trust?
Remove the limits, dream God-sized, trust, then plunge in, completely reliant on Him. Then see just how big your life can be!
