Don’t forget to enjoy your spouse …

I love “little Johnny” stories!

Have you heard this one?

At Sunday school they were teaching how God created everything, including human beings. Little Johnny, a child in the kindergarten class, seemed especially intent when they told him how Eve was created out of one of Adam’s ribs. Later in the week his mother noticed him lying down as though he were ill, and said, “Johnny, what’s the matter?”

Johnny said, “I don’t feel well, I think I’m having a wife.”

That prompts a question – if you have a wife, what should you do? Let’s hear from the wisest of men on the subject …

“Live happily with the woman you love through all the meaningless days of life that God has given you under the sun. The wife God gives you is your reward for all your earthly toil.” – Ecclesiastes 9:9.

If you have a wife (or a husband), enjoy them! It really is part of God’s plan that you MAKE time to enjoy some happiness specifically with your spouse, they are a primary part of God’s blessing for you in this lifetime. So don’t miss out on this great blessing!
