Too busy for God? Think again …

From the “average guy” to the common “soccer mom,” to business professionals and even Christian ministers, people routinely say they’re too busy for God.

No time for prayer.

Just minutes a week for a Bible verse or two.

There’s too much to do for any time for that!

A problem with that kind of thinking is when you don’t take time for and with God, all your life will yield is what “the flesh” can produce. But history is full of incredible stories of what a life can yield when we first make time for God. Like this snippet about the incredible life of George Mueller (as provided by the homiletics class of West Coast Baptist College):

George Mueller read the Bible through over 100 times. He also wrote over 3,000 letters per year for 40 years. He had nine assistants working in a dozen languages. He pastored 1,200 believers, had the oversight of five large orphanages and a huge publishing house, printed and distributed millions of books, tracts, and Bibles. He said, “I never think of going to my work without first having a good season of time with God and my Bible.”

Are you as busy as George?

What might your life yield if you made time with God your daily top priority?
